In the children's studio of "Nane" dance ensemble competitions between different classes have started. Like in real and serious competitions, we have a fair and impartial jury, which evaluates the accuracy and synchronism of performance, purity of movements and the level of theatrical culture.
The first round of the competition took place on April 12th, in which participated the children who joined the studio in September 2010. In spite of the difference of their ages, the winners were children of the younger group /5-6 years old/. They were more organized, and danced with great passion and joyful mood.

Today's competition produced a great impression on me, and the most surprising was the fact that the children who dance in the studio the first year, demonstrated themselves like real "Little Nanes", showing an emotional dance of a good level. I saw so much flame in their dance and a great desire to dance.
You cannot imagine how important it is for us - the people living outside their homeland.
The hall, where your classes are held, is full of love, it is - a special world. Be proud of the fact that you dance in the studio of "Nane" dance ensemble. Listen attentively to your teachers because they are real professionals! Love dance and stage! Give yourself entirely, and you'll make your audience happy!

Nane Armenian dance ensemble participated in Al Grain Kuwait-hosted international culture festival due January 5-25. The festival also featured dance ensembles from Germany, Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jordan and Egypt.

Тhe choreography chairman of the jury was a Honoured Art Artist of Russia and of the Republic of Mari El, State Prize Laureate, professor, academician Mikhail Mourashko.
The manager and general director of "The union of talents of Russia" project is honoured art worker of Russia Elena Katricheva.
Dance ensemble "NANE" won "Grand Prix" in the "Dance" category and was also honoured with 1st prizes in the following categories:
1. "Folk Dance" in the age group from 10 to 13;
2. "Folk Dance" in the age group from 14 to 33;
3. "Modern dance", in the age group from 9 to 33 (mixed group);
4. "Pop dance" in the age group from 10 to 13;
5. "Modern dance", from 14 to 17 years old, Terteryan Gayane.
"NANE" dance ensemble was also honoured with the "Audience Choice" award in the "Dance" nomination.
The organizing committee and the jury of the festival awarded the art director of the ensemble with a special prize and a letter of appreciation for her personal contribution to the organization and conduct of the festival.

GRAND PRIX!!!!!
Abkhazian Folk Dance "Youth Dance" and Armenian "Lyric" won Grand Prix in the "Dancing sky" Russian Video Contest in the "Folk dance" category.
In September 2009, our art director applied for "Nane" dance ensemble’s participation in the annually held competition "Dancing sky". The organizer of the competition is "One of the best" publishing house, under the leadership of Sergei Pichurichkin.
"Nane" dance ensemble won Grand Prix of the contest in the "Folk dance" category, performing "Youth dance" and "Lyric Dance".
"Longing for the beloved" and "Girls’ fun" dances won 1st prizes in the "Folk stylized dance" category.
"Pulse of Buenos Aires", "History of one life", "The Road" and "The coolness of the mountains" became laureates of Second Class in the "Contemporary dance" category.
15-year-old soloist of ensemble "Nane", Terteryan Gayane, a scholarship holder of the Russian Charitable Fund after G.S. Ulanova, won 1st prize in the "Contemporary dance" category for performing "The spark" and "Noubar" dances, receiving excellent marks!

On February 15th, the International Day of children with cancer, "Little Nanes", together with some singers and actors visited the children who are being treated at the Children's Department of the Institute of Blood Transfusion and the Fanardjyan National Center of Oncology. All together, they watched a puppet show, laughing and rejoicing, communicating with each other.
All the children received gifts from our pupils - fruits and sweets, and the children from the Centre of Oncology, who have already become very dear for all of us, kindly gave as a present to us their drawings, with these words: "To our favorite dance ensemble "Nane" from Hamik", "To our dear friends, from Eva", Dear children, Hamik, Anna, Edik, Eva, Samvel, Anahit, Anna, Karen and everyone, we wish you a quick recovery, good mood, and we hope, when you grow up you will never remember what you had to go through, when you were young children. We wish much faith and patience to your parents, sisters, brothers and grandparents who are always beside you. The first stage of "You are not alone" charitable event has ended.
As a result of the three concerts five complete sets of furniture for the hospital wards and play room of children's department of the Fanardjyan National Center of oncology were purchased.
